Resolved Question: what can I use to clean pergo floors?
I live in a house that has a hardwood floor but the person before me put pergo (faux hardwood) floors on top of the hardwood floors.
I have an issue because I share this house with three other people and we have two male neutered dogs in the house. One roommate brought home a 7 week old male puppy w/o my permission and he isn’t housebroken. It’s been going on over a month and he still isn’t housebroken. He pees all over the house and now one other male dog just started peeing in the same spots that the puppy pees on.
I’m at my wits end. I have pine-sol and am ready to mop the floors with it but I read that you shouldn’t use pine-sol on hardwood floor. Are pergo floors any different or do the same rules apply? I just need something to use to get rid of the urine smell (I can’t smell anything but apparently the dogs can).
